All virtual reality seems to be going a little more mainstream everyday now. Google Cardboard is the cheap option
and there are other VR devices that assist you with your VR needs.

Do I Plan To Use It?
Yes. We are doing a VR and research project at my school and we are going to use this app to help create content.
Commitment And Learning Curve
Super low curve. Very easy to use. Viewing the content is a bit harder as you need a VR viewing device to really enjoy it.
