TubeChop is a website that takes YouTube videos, clipping just the portion that you want. All you have to do is have the YouTube link and figure out the time marks that you want. When you mark the time that you want TubeChop does what it says, creating a unique URL that will show only the portion of the YouTube video that you desire. Simplicity itself for the user.

Simple Uses?

I used TubeChop to find a 2-minute portion of a 2-hour movie on Martin Luther. Those two minutes worked very well with my AP European History class in that they gave vision and movement to the moment when Martin Luther nails the 95 Theses to the door of the Wittenberg Church, thus launching the Protestant Reformation. The possibilities are limited to the extent that one uses video clips in class. I am a firm believer in keeping videos short, sharply focused, and sharable with other teachers. TubeChop accomplishes all three goals.

Do I Plan To Use It?

Yes, certainly!
