This app is all about data and analytics.  Sleep Cycle Alarm app allows you to track how well you are sleeping.  To useScreen Shot 2015-05-13 at 12.41.54 PM it you turn the app on and  place your mobile device face down on your bed and the app tracks your movement throughout the night to determine how well you are sleeping.  In the morning the app gives you a graph that tells you if you are spending lots of time awake, how much time you spent in deep sleep, and you can even track some variables.  You can decide what variables you want to track (things like screen time, caffeine, weather, etc.) and then the app applies these variables to your sleep data to show you if it is having a positive or negative impact on your sleep.

Simple Uses?

I really see this as being an app that can be applied to health and statistics classes.  Heath teachers could have students use the app to track their sleep and then compare how the quality of sleep affects their quality of life and could even connect this to a statistics class to teach students skills in analyzing data.

Do I Plan To Use It?

I use it personally but I don’t know that I would use it with ES kids. If I was a PE teacher, I could definitely see myself using this app.
