Kids love to read. Some kids REALLY like to read. Most teachers want to, at least, encourage students to read more. Satisfying your desire to encourage kids to read and keeping the current readers happy is better done if a system is in place. Something that helps keep things organized offers suggestions and gives kids a way to articulate their views on various books. Bookopolis appears to do just that. Bookopolis is a web based tool where teachers and students can browse through a list of books aimed at their specific age group. To make it more interesting, students are encouraged to leave feedback in the form of stars and written reviews. Teachers can build a virtual shelf of suggested books for students to check out at their school, home or virtual library.
